SACS Launches Archive Digitization Project - Volunteers needed
Wednesday, 30 August 2023

The School archives department is launching a significant project aimed at digitising decades of historical photos and records that have been carefully preserved in our archive collection over the years.

Volunteers are being invited to participate in this unique opportunity to contribute to the preservation of SACS history and ensure its accessibility for generations to come. The project will involve scanning and digitising a wide range of materials, including vintage photographs, event programs, yearbooks, and other invaluable documents that capture the School's evolution.

By volunteering your time and skills, you'll play an instrumental role in immortalizing moments that have shaped the SACS legacy. Not only will you be helping to make these resources more accessible to current students and Old Andreans, but you'll also be safeguarding the School's past for future generations.

No prior experience is required, and the School's archival experts will provide training and guidance throughout the digitisation process. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a student, a parent, or a member of the community, your involvement is crucial in making this project a resounding success.
