On the evening of Friday 18 February, SACS Captains and Vice-Captains past and present gathered with new Head of School Dr McGonigle to continue the annual Captain’s Dinner – a tradition initiated by previous Head, Dr Collier. 

The captains relish this opportunity every year to catch up with one another, banter over memories and shared experiences of school, and reconnect with the happenings at the school. It is also a lovely opportunity to share their experiences and legacy with the current school and vice captains. This year was particularly special as it was the first iteration held with Dr McGonigle. They shared with her their view of ‘what makes SACS special’, which she found both moving and inspiring.
