It's time to nominate an Old Andrean for inclusion in the SACS Hall of Honour for 2024. Each year, during our Evening of Celebration and Prizegiving, a successful nominee – either a current student or Old Andrean – is inducted into the Hall of Honour. This recognition is reserved for those whose achievements have been exceptional at a national level. To qualify for consideration, an Old Andrean must: • Exemplify the ethos of the School in their interactions with both the School and the wider community • Achieve national recognition based on merit. This could involve receiving a national award in fields such as the arts, public service, or academia, or being selected as part of a national team (or equivalent) in the arts or sport. Examples of potential Hall of Honour nominees include: • Representing Australia (or another country) in a national team or competing in an international tournament in a recognised sport • Winning a national writing or public speaking award, or representing Australia at an international forum • Receiving an Order of Australia award. To nominate someone, please email alumni@sacs.nsw.edu.au with an outline of the candidate's achievements and why you believe they qualify for this honour. Nominations must be received by Monday, 30th September. The current Hall of Honour can be viewed on our OAA Online Community at https://is.gd/mhiPG3. |
