It's been lovely to see so many of our former parents getting involved this year as part of our 140 celebrations. As you read this newsletter, you will have seen they came to the Gala Dinner (and were the party table!), sang in the Community Choir, and provided their expertise in Learning the Ropes. We are also so lucky to have Hessian families as such strong supporters of our Alumni Internship Program run every year, providing a variety of internships for young graduates to experience the workforce. A particular shout out to Craig West, former P&F President, and who has been providing both internships and employments to recent graduates for many years. 

We mostly communicate with our Hessians via our Alumni News newsletter as the stories that interest our graduates, are also the stories that interest their parents. We have had several requests recently to have a separate Hessian reunion – just for the parents, something very informal, perhaps at the school.

We look forward to seeing lots of Hessians back at Fair the Square (think Carnevale for the more recent Hessians). As you are the experts, our Community Engagement team would love you help, knowledge and advice on what you remember works or doesn't. Even more, we would love to see you on the day (or if you are feeling nostalgic, perhaps you would consider running a sideshow stall!
